It has taken several years and a great amount of effort to find craftsmen who are skilled enough to produce our hand forged and hardened steel Kozuka blades.  Each blade is hand forged and hand finished to match the specifications of original Japanese Kozuka that our craftsmen use as models.  The shape and blade proportions plus the rusted tang are common with all antique blades.  Because our blades are excellent copies of original Kozuka blades, they are valued by collectors who choose not to pay the starting price of genuine blades that frequently start at $200 and up.

Unfortunately, genuine Kozuka handles are still expensive, mostly because we have yet to find a way to produce them at a reasonable cost.  Therefore, reproduction handles are not available.
